Green Oasis is locally owned and operated and has been serving the Calgary, Red Deer and surrounding areas since 1994.  We service residential, commercial and industrial clients.  Our landscaping services include fertilization, weed control, vegetation control, core aeration, seasonal clean ups and more. 

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator to work from March 9 to September/October in our Calgary office.

Customer Service Coordinator (Seasonal Position)

Time Period:  March 9 – September/October 

Office Hours:  Monday to Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm 

RESPONSIBILITIES include:  

Customer Service/Order Desk

  • Promptly and respectfully communicate with customers to address their concerns, complaints, feedback and/or questions (residential, commercial, industrial) 
  • Handle incoming phone calls, answer service inquiries and requests 
  • Data entry  
    • set up new customers – residential 
    • set up new customers – commercial/industrial with multiple site addresses 
    • review all accounts regularly to make sure that all info is entered  
    • enter service requests (programs and services), cancellations and modifications 
    • enter production/completions 
    • enter trade show leads in Real Green 
  • Enter Commercial Group Billing Accounts into CAW during off-peak season 
  • Assist in coordination of all day-to-day routing and production activities as required. 

Accounts Receivables/Collections

  • Process customer payments 
  • Ongoing collection of past due accounts  

Sales

  • Assist Inside Sales Rep with Inbound sales as required

General Office Duties

  • Filing and organization of paperwork 

Other

  • During busy periods, help other staff, as time allows 

 

QUALIFICATIONS required:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

  • Strong computer skills and the desire and aptitude to learn new programs quickly
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the innate ability to communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Positive attitude, demonstrated work ethic and excellent team skills
  • Strong sense of accountability and punctuality skills
  • Must be highly self motivated
  • Ability to take direction
  • Must have your own transportation to and from the shop as there is limited transit service
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Coachable with the ability to perform in a helpful and learning culture
  • Experience with using Real Green industry software would be a huge bonus

Wages:

    * $17 per hour
